The Charter of Rights and Freedoms of Canada, I would expect, is supposed to protect all Canadians and guarantee our Civil rights and Liberties. The Federal Government of Canada, has failed miserably in up holding every one's rights guaranteed under the Charter. Even the language the Workers Compensation Boards (WCB) use to refer to the disabled by occupation workers (D/W) is wrong and up until NOW, has been used in order to alienate the D/W from the rest of society. The WCB's, without Federal intervention, will continue to keep the D/W suppressed from society, thereby allowing the WCB to do whatever they 'deem' the D/W worthy of or not. D/W's have lost their dignity and respect from the rest of Canadian society, because the Federal government allows it happen.
Oh Canada, Where art thou? You condemn the Human Rights abuses world wide, yet turn your back on those Canadian citizens that need you the most.
Oh Canada, Where art thou? You allow segregation of Canadian citizens.
Oh Canada, Where art thou? You deny Canadian citizens their basic human rights to life because you have turned your back on the ugliness.
Oh Canada, Where art thou? When you allow federal disability benefits (CPPD), to be gobbled up by the WCB's and returned to employers.
Oh Canada, Where art thou? When you allow corporate driven provincial and territorial WCBs, deny the D/W a decent return on their lives.Oh Canada, Where art thou? When you deny D/W disabilities.
Oh Canada, Where art thou? When the WCB's make the D/W suffer through depression destitution and disparities beyond imagination and leave the D/W with extreme stress related illnesses which can and does cause death, where there may also exist, causal links between the WCB systems and D/Ws mental/pschological illnesses and deaths by suicide.
D/W's need to have their right restored, to be able to file litigation against those who took the D/W life (employers), including the WCB's.

PS: We must begin to target the feds and make this public.
